Who we are
BITCOINkeystick is published by KŌINI. It is a standalone product. It shares no code and no infrastructure with the KŌINI exchange, and the exchange has no visibility into anything this product does.
What we collect
From this website: nothing. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies set by us, no session recording.
Third-party requests: this site currently loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to a Google server when you load a page. We are disclosing that rather than leaving it for you to find in the network tab. It is being removed by self-hosting the font files, and this paragraph goes with it.
From an order: your name, shipping address and email, held by Stripe and by us for the purpose of shipping your order. That is unavoidable for a physical product.
From the product itself: nothing, ever. It has no network stack. There is no channel over which it could report anything, and no analytics or error-reporting code anywhere in the same execution context as key material.
Key material
We never possess, escrow, transmit, log or recover your private keys or seed phrase. This is structural rather than a policy: keys are generated on your machine, in an environment with no network capability, after the product reaches you.
It follows that we cannot help you recover a lost seed, and any message claiming to be from us offering to do so is fraudulent.
Returns
Unopened, seal intact: return within 30 days for a full refund.
Seal broken: we cannot resell a security device whose seal has been opened, so opened sticks are not returnable except where the product is faulty. If your stick fails its hash check or does not boot, that is a fault — email support@koini.io and we will replace it.
No warranty of outcome
We warrant that the product does what this site says it does. We cannot warrant the security of your own machine, your own physical backup, or your own operational habits, and the value of what you protect with this tool is entirely outside our control.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. We do not tell you to buy Bitcoin, hold Bitcoin, or expect Bitcoin to do anything.
Trademarks
The Bitcoin symbol and the word Bitcoin are used here as the common names of an open protocol. No organisation owns them and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise, or as suggesting endorsement by any project, foundation or developer group.
